Anoche se celebró la gala semifinal de la preselección alemana "Unser star für Oslo" donde dos finalistas con nombre de mujer se clasificaron para la gala final. Jennifer Braun o Lena Meyer-Landrut será la representante alemana en Oslo.
Curiosamente la preselección alemana está siendo organizada conjuntamente por la NRD y la cadena privada ProSieben. El famoso presentador y representante eurovisivo Stefan Raab ejerce las labores de organización y presentación.El formato ha constado de diversas fases de preselección y comenzó con 10 participantes. Interpretaban temas populares y después de dos primeras galas clasificatorias, los 10 supervivientes se han ido eliminando de dos en dos hasta quedar las dos finalistas actuales.
